How it works

  1. 1

    Upload your documents

Drop in up to 15 invoices or receipts: PDFs, scans or clear photos. One invoice or receipt per file.

  2. 2

    See a free preview

You see who each document is from, its date and its number straight away. The amounts stay hidden until you unlock.

  3. 3

    Check, edit and export

Unlock to see net, VAT and total. Fix anything that's wrong, then download CSV, Excel, or a bills import file for Xero or QuickBooks.

VAT split out

Net, VAT and total for every document. Rows where the amounts don't add up, or a receipt shows no VAT, are flagged so you can check them.

Ready for your accounts package

Xero bills import file and QuickBooks Online bills import file, with your own account code or name filled in.

Never stored on our side

Documents are read in memory and not kept by us. Your results stay in your own browser.

Frequently asked questions

What does it read from each document?
The supplier, invoice or receipt date, due date, invoice number, a short description, and the net, VAT and total amounts. Credit notes are recognised and come out as negative amounts.
How much does it cost?
The preview is free. £4.99 unlocks one batch of up to 15 invoices or receipts, with every export format. There is no subscription, and you don't need an account to pay.
Can I put several invoices in one PDF?
Each file is read as one invoice or receipt, so split combined PDFs into separate files first. Each file can be up to 5 pages and 4 MB.
What if a receipt doesn't show any VAT?
Many small receipts show only a total. We set the VAT to nil and flag the row, so you can correct it if the purchase did include VAT.
Will the Xero and QuickBooks files import cleanly?
They follow the bills import layouts those products ask for. Account codes (Xero) and account names (QuickBooks) must match your own chart of accounts exactly, so you can type yours in before you download. Xero tax types use the standard UK names, so check they match your tax rates.
Are my documents stored?
No. They are held in memory while being read and are not kept by us. To read them, each file is sent securely to Google's Gemini API under its paid-service terms, which don't allow Google to train its models on your documents. See our privacy policy for the details.
How accurate is it?
It is very good on clear documents, but any automated reading can make mistakes, especially on blurry photos. You can edit every cell before exporting, and you should check the figures against your documents before importing them.
